More than two ways to advertise

Fast Company recently wrote an article about The Experience Project, an experienced based social networking site, where people connect around similar experiences.  These experiences can vary from people who love peanut butter, to those who believe in love at first site.  Is this just another social networking medium for people to connect?  Will people use it?

I don’t think it is going to strike any new cords.  With Facebook’s hold over connection, I believe it is going to just be another option that is out there.  I can see companies creating groups to advertising under the cover of “a common experience”.  Only time will tell.
